The last month of the hot part of summer
Since I last posted, I finished my Master's degree, took a weekend trip to Houston for a mini-vacation, celebrated my second wedding anniversary and reformatted the hard drive. I also learned that a 5 degree drop in temperature translates into a run that is roughly 3 times more enjoyable. I usually get off work in the afternoon, go home, the go for a run. For most of August, the highs reached over 100 degrees. So when it dips to the high 90's, all the better. This labor day weekend should see highs in the upper 80's. I'd be a fool not to take advantage of that. Don't have any photos this time - too busy, but I did post an old photo of Boo on the porch , and a nearby hay field. I live in the city of Austin, but one needn't travel far to feel that animals are better suited to the environs than people, which is just how I like it.
